Speech Therapy

I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with over 6 years of experience in the field. I am ASHA certified and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology. I have worked in speech clinics for the past 6 years serving toddlers to adults. I have experience working with expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation, phonology, fluency (stuttering), pragmatic (social) language, phonemic awareness, phonics, narrative language, aphasia, Traumatic Brain Disorders, and voice disorders in the area of vocal nodules. Additionally, I have provided therapy to children and adults with a variety of abilities including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Reading Therapy

Prior to becoming a speech and language pathologist, I earned a master’s in language and literacy as a reading specialist from Arizona State University. During this time I gained experience with DIBELS, DRA (Developmental Reading Assessments), Reading a-z.com, RazKids, Read Naturally, Children’s literacy, Word Work, Reading and Writing Workshop Models and Reading Intervention.

Why Private Pay?
Speak n Read accepts private pay clients. This means that we do not bill insurance companies for the services provided and are considered an out-of-network provider. However, we are happy to provide you with Super Bills should you choose to seek reimbursement from your insurance company on your own. As a private pay client, you are responsible for covering the cost of services. Please contact Speak n Read for specific rates.
